Cene, April 2024 – Sitip, a leading company in the industrial textile sector, is pleased to announce its participation in the international Techtextil trade fair to be held from 23 to 26 April in Frankfurt, an event of strategic importance for the textile sector worldwide.

Techtextil represents an important opportunity for Sitip, as the industrial sector is a fundamental pillar of its business: the company is proudly engaged in the production of highly innovative fabrics, which are the result of constant research and development. Sitip always offers new solutions aimed at satisfying even the most demanding customers.

Sitip’s commitment to innovation and technological progress is tangible in its constant pursuit of excellence, which embraces not only products, but also services, processes and company systems, always marked by social and environmental responsibility. These aspects of Sitip’s corporate philosophy will be the highlights at Techtextil.

The Sitip Group strives daily to meet the multifaceted expectations of its stakeholders, both internal and external, through the implementation of a quality-based approach over time, as confirmed by its ISO 9001 certification on the effectiveness of production and operational processes through a Quality Management System. This system helps in the organisation of quality management in order to present a wide range of warp-knit fabrics ranging from mechanical fasteners to abrasive fabrics, from medical/orthopaedic fabrics to footwear and helmets, as at the international trade fair in Frankfurt.

One of the leading products in the medical and orthopaedic sector is Vell 5872 – Elastic Velvet: thanks to its optimal and homogeneous brushing and a composition of select nylon and elastane yarns, it combines excellent mechanical fastening performance with superb elasticity, compression and softness to the touch. These characteristics make it ideal for orthopaedic devices.

In the area of abrasive fabrics, we will be showcasing  resin-coated Strapp, which ensures extraordinary closing efficiency and strength, thanks to the combination of optimal brushing and a resin on the back that provides additional support without affecting the loop. It is perfect for uses that require multiple series of opening and closing.

Shalimar, designed for lining helmets and footwear, will also be present: woven with Microsense yarns for better comfort, a soft touch and easy cleaning. This fabric is also treated with Sanitized antibacterial and 2DRY technology, which allows for fast drying. The fabric is also laminated with filter foams, which make it even more breathable and facilitate the dispersion of moisture; it can also be perforated for additional air passage.

The Native line will also be on display: an extensive line made of recycled yarns including several products for the world of industry.

Techtextil provides the ideal stage for these cutting-edge solutions, giving Sitip the opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to innovation, quality, customer satisfaction and responsible production.

“SITIP’s participation in Techtextil is a strategic opportunity for us to advance our corporate philosophy of continuous innovation, responsible production, and excellence. Showing an international audience our commitment to industrial textiles is crucial to sharing our vision and consolidating our position as an industry leader,” stated Silvana Pezzoli, Vice President and Commercial Director at SITIP S.p.A.
