SITIP: SUSTAINABLE EXCELLENCE ON SHOW AT TECHTEXTIL, 23-26 APRIL IN FRANKFURT

Cene, April 2024 – Sitip, a leading company in the industrial textile sector, is pleased to announce its participation in the international Techtextil trade fair to be held from 23 to 26 April in Frankfurt, an event of strategic importance for the textile sector worldwide.

One of the leading products in the medical and orthopaedic sector is Vell 5872 – Elastic Velvet: thanks to its optimal and homogeneous brushing and a composition of select nylon and elastane yarns, it combines excellent mechanical fastening performance with superb elasticity, compression and softness to the touch. These characteristics make it ideal for orthopaedic devices.

In the area of abrasive fabrics, we will be showcasing resin-coated Strapp, which ensures extraordinary closing efficiency and strength, thanks to the combination of optimal brushing and a resin on the back that provides additional support without affecting the loop. It is perfect for uses that require multiple series of opening and closing.

Shalimar, designed for lining helmets and footwear, will also be present: woven with Microsense yarns for better comfort, a soft touch and easy cleaning. This fabric is also treated with Sanitized antibacterial and 2DRY technology, which allows for fast drying. The fabric is also laminated with filter foams, which make it even more breathable and facilitate the dispersion of moisture; it can also be perforated for additional air passage.

The Native line will also be on display: an extensive line made of recycled yarns including several products for the world of industry.
