OFFICIAL SUPPLIER OF THE GIRO D’ITALIA 2022 “MAGLIA ROSA”
Known for its reliability, know-how and passion for the production of technical textiles for cyclists, since 2014 Sitip has accompanied the great champions of the Giro d’Italia by supplying the fabric for the pink, white, blue and purple leader jerseys.
The cycling race is another chance for Sitip to apply its significant expertise in the production of high performance activewear fabrics used by the biggest international active brands.
Since 2020, Sitip has also extended its commitment to sustainability to the Giro d’Italia, promoting the first “green” “Maglia Rosa” thanks to the use of GRS-certified recycled yarns.

Italian UCI Women’s World Tour
Starting in 2021, Sitip is a proud sponsor of Alé BTC Ljubljana, the only Italian women’s cycling team in the UCI Women’s World Tour.
Sitip has always supported sports and cycling, so it came as no surprise when the company decided to sponsor an all-women’s team of determined, passionate athletes, accompanying them as they ride their way through a challenging and exciting racing calendar.
SCOTT Racing Team
Sitip also plays a part in the performance of the Scott Racing Team, the top team in the UCI Marathon Series circuit.
Sitip has decided to share and offer its concrete contribution to the SCOTT Racing Team responsible innovation approach. In 2021, this led to the co-development of the first sustainable mountain biking kit in partnership with ROICA™ by Asahi Kasei and Rosti.
In sports as in fashion, no company can afford to neglect responsible innovation.
FELICE GIMONDI
The relationship between Sitip, “Gran Fondo Internazionale Gimondi” and “Gimondi Bike” speak of passion for cycling, friendship and Bergamo.
The long-standing friendship between cycling champion Felice Gimondi and Luigi Pezzoli, Sitip’s founder, lives on in Sitip’s support for the race organised in honour of the great cyclist.
Since 1996, the year of the first edition, Sitip has sponsored the “Gran Fondo Internazionale Gimondi” race, confirming its interest in and support for sports events that promote the Lombardy region, where Sitip is based and operates.
STRADE BIANCHE
Considered “Europe’s southernmost northern classic”, the “Gran Fondo Strade Bianche” is, for Sitip, the opportunity to combine professional and amateur cycling in an exceptional setting.
The stunning landscapes of Siena’s peaks are flanked by a gravel route as beautiful as it is challenging, where Sitip’s technical fabrics accompany the athletes as they compete as best they can.
